With a traditional piggy bank, the temptation is strong: you open it ‘just to tide yourself over’, and your goal slips further away.
The lockable piggy bank removes that temptation.
The lid is fixed: there’s no opening at the top, and the slot doesn’t allow you to take the coins out.

A lid engraved with your goal

The natural beech wood lid is custom pyrographed with: project name, first name, target date, amount to be raised, icon (aeroplane, car, house, heart…) or logo.

How does it work?

1. Describe your engraving requirements in the ‘Personalisation’ field (maximum 250 characters), then click ‘Save’ before adding to your basket.
2. If you have a logo or icon, please send it to info@pulsai.com.
3. You’ll receive an engraving proposal by email within 12 hours, and you can request any changes.
4. Once you’ve approved it, your money box will be made within 3 to 4 days.

Which size should you choose?
The L2 is sufficient for a collection worth a few hundred euros.
The L5, with smooth sides and supplied unfinished, is designed to be decorated to your own taste.
The XL2 is suitable for more ambitious projects.
The XXL2 also holds banknotes and envelopes, making it ideal for a wedding or honeymoon collection.

The unfinished version, to personalise yourself

The L5size is supplied unfinished: the box is unpainted and its smooth sides provide the perfect surface for you to decorate it however you like.

• Stickers featuring your own design: photo, savings goal, wedding theme, logo…
• Paper, fabric, lace or washi tape for a handmade decoration.
• Paint or draw on it to create a 100% unique money box – perhaps designed by the children.

How do you get the money back?

On the day your target is reached:

• for single-use, simply open the base of the box with a standard can opener;
• to reuse the money box, we can supply you with a special opening tool (price on request), which allows you to start a new savings challenge with the same box.

An eco-friendly money box, made in France

Your money box is handmade in our workshop in Maine-et-Loire:

• reusing a tin can, meaning less waste;
• no plastic, by design;
• a low carbon footprint, unlike money boxes that are usually imported;
• 100% recyclable metal and wood .

Composition: metal (reused tin can) and natural beech wood.
Production time: 3 to 4 days after the engraving has been approved.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really impossible to retrieve the money through the slot?
Yes, the slot is designed to let coins in, not to let them out. The money can only be accessed by opening the base or by opening the money box with our special tool, which ensures the tin remains intact.

Is the money box reusable?
Yes, provided you use our special opening tool (price on request).
This is because once the box has been opened using a can opener, it must be discarded. The engraved lid can then be kept as a keepsake. However, we can provide replacement boxes on request.

Can I decorate my money box myself?
Yes, choose size L5: it is supplied unfinished, with smooth sides, ready for a sticker, paper or paint.

How does it differ from the Large Piggy Bank?
The Large Piggy Bank has a removable lid, which is handy for counting your savings. The piggy bank without an opening is designed to help you resist temptation.
