Storing used batteries

The box is an ex-can or baby milk can that has been carefully upcycled to look like a battery. It is closed by a grey-painted wooden lid.

The lid has a hole 16 mm in diameter through which you can insert the usual round used batteries (AA, AAA, etc.). For the rest, simply lift the lid!

We offer this container in 2 sizes:

L = ∅ 99 x 121 mm (size of a large tin of green beans)

XL = ∅ 127 x 155 mm (size of a standard can of baby milk)

Recycle for the planet 🌱

• Recycling batteries is essential, but only 38% of them are recycled: many still end up in the bin or are accumulated in private homes.

• Batteries contain toxic heavy metals (lithium, lead, cadmium, etc.) that can pollute the soil, air and water and harm living creatures if they are not recycled.

• Recycling recovers precious materials: every year, more than 33,000 tonnes of batteries are recycled, enabling more than 18,000 tonnes of metals to be reused and preserving natural resources.
